Stefan Donat follows Dr. Eckhard Geulen as Managing Director at DOCUFY

Stefan Donat will take over the management of DOCUFY GmbH in Bamberg from 1 October 2020. He succeeds Dr. Eckhard Geulen, who is resigning from his position on 30 September for personal reasons. Roderich Kirschenlohr, who has been strengthening the management team since the takeover of DOCUFY GmbH by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) in May 2017, and Nadine Prill, who has been acting as CFO since October 2019, will remain Co-MDs.

Bamberg, July 27, 2020 - Since 2019, Dr. Eckhard Geulen has played a key role in driving the success of DOCUFY and, in particular, has given the company a professional structure that is capable of growth. "With a clear focus on software solutions along the product lifecycle management value chain, he has effectively expanded access to expertise and talent in the areas of Web Services, Smart Devices, Internet Technologies, Augmented Reality and Cloud Computing for the Heidelberg Group and DOCUFY customers," said Rainer Hundsdörfer, expressing his thanks for the excellent work performed in recent years.

Stefan Donat, a proven expert in software development and e-commerce, will take over the position on the management board on 1 October 2020. Together with the approximately 130 employees at the Bamberg and Wiesloch locations, he will continue to support DOCUFY GmbH and its customers with future-proof software solutions and innovative concepts in the digital transformation of their companies.

The Graduate engineer in production engineering gained his first professional experience as head of the staff unit for the development of technical software and sales support at Thyssen Hünnebeck GmbH, a subsidiary of Thyssen AG in Ratingen. At the e-business solution provider Proxicom GmbH, Stefan Donat was then responsible as MD for the expansion of all business activities including business development, sales and marketing. In the following years he held further management positions at Ident Technology AG (development of sensor technology) and Ingram Micro CFS Germany GmbH, a business unit of the Ingram Micro Group, the world's largest electronics distributor with a turnover of 50 billion dollar. Most recently, Stefan Donat was MD of Element1 Media GmbH in Munich, an e-commerce platform for the digitalization of corporate sales.

To ensure a smooth and forward-looking transition for the customers of DOCUFY GmbH, Stefan Donat will join the team in August.
